MEET THE AUTHOR
Author Debra Halborn has worn many hats in her artistic career. As a youngster, she began drawing and painting on the walls of her parent’s home. Debra has worked as a graphic designer in the silkscreen and advertising industries; did a stint as creative services director, and ran her own decorative painting business for over 25 years. For the past seven years, Debra has donned the chapeau of de facto Home Remodeler, as she is in the throes of renovating and restoring her 5th house. Debra states that, throughout her relocations and renovations, “My cats have been my steadfast companions. They’ve proven to be as adventuresome and adaptable as me.”
Debra’s lifelong love of cats provided maximum inspiration for her to write and design Greetings from The Starcat Cluster (see The Prequel page).
“Cats are so serene in repose, so athletic in their acrobatic grace, they surely seem to defy gravity. It was only natural that I chose to “launch” my cosmic companions into outer space, by creating ‘Starcat Cluster!’”

MEET THE ARTIST
Nationally recognized illustrator George Angelini has enjoyed a career that spans over 25 years of successful commissions. His client list includes Random House, Harper-Collins, Automobile Magazine, Smithsonian, Cosmopolitan, Golf Digest, Doubleday, Bantam, Warner, Good Housekeeping, plus many private oil painting commissions. His paintings are often very realistic and true to detail. Working on Starcat Cluster enabled George to combine his mastery of classical oil painting with the fantasy of digital imagery.
